The results are in from that other worlds event. Adam, Kelli, and Carl kept it real there and turned in nice results. No new tattoos for any of them, but from the looks of that course in Ft. William I’d say they can can wear their SSWC07 marks proudly and leave the groomed stuff to those European prima donnas.
I’ve been swamped with work since I got back. Hard to imagine after 2.5 weeks away! The bikes are all still packed up. I’m hoping to release them from their shackles tonight. As it is I’ve done nothing more than commute by bike since I’ve been home. And even that met with an abrupt end last night when I snapped the chain on the fixie on the way to the Spikes game.
I did go for my first run of the year this morning with Sophie in tow. Only 15 minutes so as to keep the soreness down and avoid aggravating my tender Achilles. So, I guess that means its cyclocross season.
